I've decided I want to keep the love hearts blanket for myself. It's so beautiful. I don't think this will go down well with the intended recipient though, as she'll watch her husband opening and delighting in his while I pretend her's got washed away in a flash flood and is now home to a family of raccoons. And an ardvark.

I am a knitting noblin who sometimes designs too. I mostly knit for family but try to make things for myself aswell. In 2006 I finished my accountancy exams and began a worldwide yarn tour. Now that I'm back, I'm reinventing myself as a low consuming, post materialist who likes to shop for nice things.

Aren't some of the hearts quite specific to the wedding? Might be a bit obvious when they come to visit? Unless you distract them with the aardvark...
